2025 Presidet’s gala raises $104,504 for scholarships at SSU
Over 300 donors and community members attended the SSU Foundation’s annual event on April 26 to raise money for the Friends of Shawnee State Scholarship Fund.
SSUF Receives Two Major Gifts from Alumni to Support Dental Hygiene.
SSU alumni Dr. Christine Sikora and Dr. Amy Heim each recently made gifts of $10,000 in support of the Shawnee State University Dental Hygiene program.
Dress for success empowers students with professional attire
Through the program, students are able to purchase business attire, allowing them to present themselves with confidence at job interviews, meetings, conferences, and career fairs.

When you give to The Shawnee Fund, you help us meet our highest and most pressing priorities. The Shawnee Fund is unrestricted, meaning your gift can be put to use immediately to help meet the needs of SSU students.

The Bear Club offers support for over 300 varsity SSU athletes in 22 different sports.

The Friends of Shawnee Scholarship awards funding to SSU students in need of financial assistance to cover tuition costs. In 2022-2023 the Friends of Shawnee awarded over $31,000 in support to more than 30 SSU students,

Your gift to Shawnee State University supports scholarships, classroom technology, academic programs, campus life, and much more. When you give, you make it possible for a student to receive a college education and you enhance the learning and college experience for everyone at SSU. In the 2024-2025 academic year, the Shawnee State University Foundation awarded scholarships to 303 students for a total of $512,486.00. Every dollar will make a difference.
